Molotov - Film - 2’13

“Molotov” is both a twilight vision of the sublime (the Molotov cocktail as a shooting star) and an acknowledgment of the political powerlessness of the isolated act of rebellion. The Molotov cocktail, a symbol of protest, is defused. A surveillance camera, in the middle of nowhere, continues to film acts of desperate rebellion in a depopulated world, perhaps in the aftermath of a catastrophe.
